Kevin J. Magorien
1978 to present, Attorney at Law in private practice, Kent, WA
Practice emphasis in creditor-debtor law, including representation of creditors and debtors in various bankruptcy proceedings. I have represented several hundred debtors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings, and have represented debtors-in-possesion in approximately five Chapter 11 proceedings.
My representation of creditors' rights in bankruptcy extends to automobile dealers, homeowners' associations and private lenders.
I have, through the years, represented debtors and creditors in virtually all aspects of the bankruptcy process, including preparation and filing of petitions, adversary and contested matters, evidentiary hearings and trials.
In addition to debtor-creditor law, which represents approximately 80% of my practice, I provide estate planning services for individuals, representation in probate proceedings, and representation of property owners in unlawful detainer actions.
Personal interests: Travel (particularly in Mexico, Central and South America), Skiing, language study (Spanish)
